PREM KUMAR

Prem is an FMCG pioneer. He held leadership positions, established and resurrected numerous business divisions globally. Most recently, he held an advisory role at PepsiCo International to support strategic initiatives in four of its key markets and continues to be an active member of its Asia Pacific advisory committee.

In his previous roles at PepsiCo, Prem was responsible for building a profitable China business for the company and successfully integrating the China, Taiwan and Hongkong businesses. He also built S&D capability, business model, processes and profitability for Pepsi’s snacks business in Asia and India as the leader for the Frito lay business. 

He is passionate about advising start-ups on product market fit, scaling consumer businesses, building brand recognition and loyalty and he applies these energies to help Ankurit’s portfolio companies as a venture partner.

Prem is a graduate of Patna University and holds an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
